We now know the razor-sharp condition hidden beneath freedom. The ring of the platform is opened fairly to everyone, but the cruel truth remains: the only one who can dance upon it as an equal in a win-win partnership with the giant is the "irreplaceable expert" who has forged their own unique character and bargaining power.
Yet, stepping out into the real-world square, we hear bizarre screams from all directions shaking this clear law of meritocracy. Countless demands for redistribution raise their voices, claiming that mega-platforms are exploiting us and that the world’s inequality has subjugated them. Here, we must once more pose a chilling question that pierces straight to the essence:
"Do the myriad problems of dependence and redistribution we face truly stem from structural threats? Or could they perhaps be the whining of ‘zombie individuals’ who skip the effort to cultivate capability and character, yet demanding the rewards and freedom reserved for average or top-tier performers for free?"
Ah… pulling back the curtain of romantic humanism, we finally face the raw and honest reality flowing at the bottom of modern mass society. Much of the discourse we believed to be a justified claim of rights was, in fact, not due to structural contradictions at all. It was merely the psychology of "Ressentiment" (envy, jealousy, and resentment) harbored by those who failed to forge their own weapons.
Those Who Attempt to Plunder the Results While Skipping the Process
The greatest tragedy of modern mass society is that everyone gazes only at the "brilliant results (bread and freedom)" enjoyed by the top 10% of successful alchemists. They subtly omit the "agony of the process"—the sleepless nights spent building an unrivaled character, holding out lonelily amidst the waves of the algorithm, and fiercely pushing and pulling against a heartless market.
The skilled proudly declare: "I have proven my irreplaceable value through blood-sweating effort, so I will win-win with the platform on a 7-to-3 split."
Meanwhile, the zombie individuals murmur among themselves: "Why does that person get to take 7? I am human just the same, yet the platform’s algorithm is alienating and discriminating against me. The state must step in, strip those greedy elites of their 7 to divide it among us, or legally guarantee the view counts of my content."
This is not a justified claim of rights. It is the politics of envy, packaging one’s own incompetence and laziness in the convenient mask of the "socially underprivileged" to legally plunder the sweat and blood of another’s achievements. Refusing to grind and sharpen a weapon themselves, they throw a tantrum demanding to share a sword someone else suffered to make.
Populism Fed on the Greed of Zombies
The reason these zombie individuals do not vanish but instead become the mainstream of the square is that a cunning partisan politics exists, feeding on their inferiority complexes. Demagogic, populist politics brilliantly recognizes the weight carried by the votes of these zombie individuals.
They approach the unskilled masses and whisper sweetly: "It is not your fault that you are poor and unpopular. It is because those greedy, established elites and heartless platform corporations are monopolizing wealth and rigging the rules. Elect me, and I will instantly change the law to strip them of what they have and fill your pockets."
Through this toxic collusion, a massive horde of zombies is formed—individuals who choose political tantrums to gain "unearned income" instead of thinking to cultivate capability. This then morphs under the sublime name of "social justice," completing a vicious cycle that catastrophically destroys the healthy ecosystem where genuine experts should fully achieve self-actualization. Just as the madness of fascism 100 years ago fed on the inferiority complexes of the masses, modern populism runs amok using the envy of zombies as its nourishment.
How to Distinguish Real Welfare from Fake Welfare
If so, was the "safety net for human survival" we emphasized so heavily nothing but a mirage? No. It is precisely at this point that true justice and fake justice are severed with a razor-sharp edge.
Handing bread to the starving is humanity’s obligation. However, when the unskilled whine while coveting the share of top performers, society must possess a cold sternness that can firmly say: "Stop whining, and go build your own capability and character first." For that is the only way to safeguard the motivation of genuine experts and prevent the stagnation of society as a whole.
The Grand Finale of Reasoning: Toward Humans Stripped of Their Masks
Our grand journey of reasoning, which began by tracing a historical cancer cell called fascism, finally reaches its majestic close by completely stripping away the mask of hypocritical morality and staring directly into the "essence of humans and capability."
Behind the noble shell of ideology lay practical self-interest; behind the weapon of dictatorship lay the efficiency of power; and behind the new world of platforms lay the proud bargaining power of irreplaceable experts. And finally, behind the holy slogan of redistribution lurked the envy of zombie individuals who covet results without effort.
We now possess a solid backbone of reasoning, unshaken by any sweet demagoguery in the world. Will you become a zombie running out into the square, intoxicated by a fake flag handed out by the state? Or will you become an independent expert, quietly forging your own weapon in your study to proudly contract with giants?
Stopping the whining and proving value to the world solely through your own unique character. Upon that chilling yet grand path of liberation, I passionately cheer for your own brilliant, independent route—one where you silently sharpen your sword without making excuses about the system. The intellectual epic we shared, grueling yet beautiful, has ended, but the hour of true capability that you will prove has only just begun.
